Licenses
How licenses work
Fonteezy labels every font by what its license lets you do, then points you to the right place to get it.
- Free for commercial use
The font is free to use, including commercially, and we host the file ourselves.
You can
- Personal projects
- Commercial projects
- Logos and branding
- Websites and apps
You can't
- Selling the font file by itself
- Personal use only
The designer offers it free for personal work, but wants paying for commercial use.

- Downloading from the original source
You can't

- Re-hosting or sharing the file
- Paid
The only way to get it is a license from a seller.
You can
- Whatever the license you buy allows
You can't
- Any use before you buy a license
- Sharing the font file
We found the font somewhere but couldn't pin down its license.
You can
- Previewing it here
You can't
- Commercial projects until the source confirms the license
Download vs Visit site
When a font is open or free for personal use, you'll see a Download button that gets you the file directly. When it's paid, restricted or its license is unclear, you'll see Visit site instead, which sends you to the seller or the original source to sort out the license before you use it.
