Terms of use

The Fonteezy website is free and needs no account. Please don't:

• hit the site with so many automated requests that it slows down for everyone;
• try to get into the admin area or around our usage limits;
• use the website check on sites you have no business probing;
• upload images you have no right to share;
• use the site for anything illegal.

We may block anyone who does.

We compare letter shapes, font names and stylesheets with our library. A match can be wrong. Before you buy a license or send something to print, check the font yourself.

We don't own the fonts on Fonteezy. Each one has its own license. We only host a file when its license allows sharing; otherwise we link to where you can get it.

Our license labels are a quick summary, not legal advice. The license that comes with the font is what counts, and it's between you and the font's owner. The license guide explains each label.

Most fonts come from open sources like Google Fonts and open-source projects. Our crawler, FonteezyBot, also reads font sites. It names itself in every request, waits between requests, and stops at bot checks. To have your site left alone or fonts removed, email hello@fonteezy.io.

When you check a website, we fetch that page and its stylesheets once, because you asked.

Use the takedown form or email hello@fonteezy.io. We review every request and remove what we shouldn't be showing.

The Fonteezy apps for iPhone and Android sell Pro and scan packs through the App Store and Google Play.

• Pro is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly, that renews automatically until you cancel it.
• Where it's offered, the yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial. If you don't cancel during the trial, the first year is charged when it ends.
• Apple or Google bills you, using the account you buy with. We never see your payment details.
• To stop a subscription renewing, cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings before the current period ends. Apple needs at least 24 hours' notice before the renewal date. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel it.
• Scan packs are one-off purchases. The scans don't expire. They aren't refundable, except where Apple's or Google's refund policy or your local consumer law allows it.
• Prices are the ones shown in the store when you buy, in your local currency.

We link to stores, designers and download sites we don't control, so we can't vouch for them. Some store links may earn us a commission; see the affiliate disclosure.

The site's design, code and writing are ours. Font and store names belong to their owners. Showing them doesn't mean they endorse us.

Fonteezy comes as is. We can't promise it will always be up, error-free, or right about a font or its license. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using the site, including relying on a match or a license label. This doesn't take away rights you have under consumer law where you live.

When these terms change, the date at the top changes too. Using the site after that means you accept the new terms. Our privacy policy covers your data. Questions: hello@fonteezy.io.
